TINEG, Abra -- The municipal government of Tineg has reopened its tourist spots to local residents to slowly revive its economy.
Citing the existing executive order of the provincial government of allowing tourism limited to the locals, Tineg Mayor Corinthia Dannang-Crisologo announced that the Apao Rolling Hills and Vira View Deck are now open provided they should be at 50 % operational capacity.
She said people in charge of the operations of the sites should ensure the observance of the minimum public health standards and implement safety protocols in accordance to guidelines issued by the provincial government and Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).
Aside from the strict observance of respiratory hygiene, cough etiquettes, physical distancing and thermal scanning, the mayor added that environmental sanitation should be practiced at all times including proper disposal of all types of garbage particularly used face masks.
Bringing of plastic bottles, plastic wrappers, food items, cigarettes and alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
Aside from paying fees, local tourists must provide filled-out individual health declaration forms and submit copies of their identification cards at the designated municipal quarantine control points before entry.
