15 Cordillera cops sent to hometowns


CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- Another 15 personnel of regional police here will soon join their families having availed of the localization of assignment program of the Philippine National Police.
    In ceremony at regional police headquarters here, the 15 cops were transferred to their hometowns as part of the desire of the organization to enhance work performance of PNP personnel by enhancing their morale and welfare.
    Of 15 personnel, 11 were reassigned to Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, two in Central Visayas and one each in Cagayan Valley and Ilocos Region.
    Meanwhile, 485 PNP personnel coming from different regional offices of the PNP will soon join the PROCor as they availed of said program.
    In a statement, outgoing PNP chief Gen. Camilo Pancratius P. Cascolan, said localizing PNP personnel will help much in their efficiency and effectiveness especially in law enforcement.
