DAGUPAN CITY – Alert life guards rescued five swimmers from drowning at the Tondaligan Beach here on Nov. 8.
Tondaligan Park Administrator Jhun Cadiz lauded the beach life guards, who rescued the swimmers, mostly Dagupan residents and tourists coming from the province.
Cadiz said those rescued were given prompt medical attention by the staff of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).
According to Cadiz, Tondaligan Beach has been open since September with the strict implementation of health protocols among those who want to take a dip in its refreshing waters.
Cadiz said since the beach was reopened no one was reported to have been drowned since its life guards were well-trained.
