8 medical workers among 16 new Covid cases in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO CITY -- Eight medical staff of the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) and a contact tracer were among the 16 new cases of Covid-19 in the province. 
    The Cagayan Information Office reported Nov. 2 among those who also tested positive for the coronavirus were a teacher, a Dept. of Education program specialist and a driver.
    And of those infected at the CVMC, the Provincial Health Office (PHO) and Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU), confirmed that CV 247 was a doctor, who tested positive anew for Covid-19.
    She recovered from the viral ailment in July, but was infected anew, according to her latest swab test.
    The physician, 27, was assigned at the Covid-19 ward of CVMC and was from Tuguegarao City.
    The others from CVMC who were infected were two other doctors, two nurses, and three medical technologists.\
    Meanwhile, the contact tracer was from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Tuguegarao.
