CITY — A vintage bomb exploded in a junkshop in Zaragosa, Nueva Ecija on
Monday, leaving one person dead and another wounded.
Col. Marvin Joe Saro, Nueva Ecija police officer-in-charge, identified the fatality as Robert Dupra.
Saro said Dupra and Marlon Villaronte were tinkering with the vintage bomb in a junkshop in Barangay San Isidro when it went off.
He said junkshop owners should surrender vintage bombs for their safety.

SAN MATEO,
Isabela — A 13-year-old girl, believed to be a victim of rape, was found dead
in a creek here in Barangay Bella Luz on Tuesday.
Town police chief Maj. Darwin Urani said the body of the victim, which bore signs of strangulation, was naked from the waist down.
Initial investigation showed the victim was left alone in her house on Monday.
The creek where her body was found floating is around 200 meters away from her house.
