CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Four Philippine
National Police personnel were cited and awarded for their operational
accomplishments here at regional police headquarters.
Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. R’win S. Pagkalinawan awarded Medalya ng Kagalingan (medal of merit) to Lt. Angeline Dongpaen and SSg Patrick P Culbongan, Jr. of Baguio City Police Office for arresting Joseph Caballeron Vinluan in a buy-bust operation at South Central, Aurora Hill, Baguio City.
Vinluan was identified as a high-value target. Dongpaen was the team leader during the operation while SSg Culbongan was the poseur-buyer.
The same medal was also given to Lt. Leonardo K. Reves and PEMS Morris M Balay-odao of Tuba, Benguet municipal police station for arresting Roldan Felipe Bansulay. Bansulay who was listed top most wanted person of Benguet who was facing charges of two counts of rape.
Reves was team leader while PEMS Balay-odao was arresting officer.
