CITY OF TABUK, Kalinga – Top provincial recognized efforts
of government and private sector in combatting the Covid-19 virus and managing
calamities.
Gov. Ferdinand Tubban and Rep. Allen Jesse Mangaoang thanked frontliners, health workers, disaster responders, local government officials, police and military, civic spirited groups and individuals for their hard work on Covid-19 prevention and management and disaster response.
“As we welcome the year 2021, let us adapt an outlook of hope and assurance to grow and become stronger, more resilient in dealing with the pandemic and deeply committed in delivering public service to our people through shared governance,” Tubban said in his message during the inter-agency flag ceremony on Monday.
Tubban urged public servants to remain united and adapt to effective and efficient working standards that bring government closer to the people as he enjoined them to stay connected with each other to reach out to clients.
Mangaoang also thanked those whose contributions have made 2020 a test of survival yet finishing the year with triumphs and cherished values.
Mangaoang urged stakeholders in public service to use experience gained from trials particularly which strengthened people’s resolve to be better citizens. -- PIA Kalinga
