Kibungan swaps DepEd heads with Kapangan

KIBUNGAN, Benguet – Dept. of Education supervisors of Kibungan and Kapangan towns of Benguet recently swapped positions.   
    Molly M. Ablaza, EdD accepted from Jonathan G. Sadey, EdD responsibility as public schools district supervisor (PSDS) for Kibungan district during a simple rites here at Kibungan Central School on Jan. 15.
    Ablaza during her acceptance speech, asked support of the stakeholders for the continued delivery of quality education of the school.
    “I ask stakeholders that the support you have given to Dr. Sadey will continue so that we can still deliver blended learning," said Ablaza, who served as PSDS of Kapangan.
    Sadey, who will be the PSDS in Kapangan, said turnover of leadership could result to good and bad but he will strive for the better.
    "Thank you very much to the local government unit for the help you extended to DepEd specially this time of pandemic in delivering blended learning -- also to the DepEd family, parents and other stakeholders like the PNP.”
    Addressing high school and elementary teachers, Sadey said he hoped they learned something from him throughout his stay.
    The ceremony was witnessed by Vice Mayor Edwin G. Nitron, municipal councilors, Kibungan police chief Capt. Douglas M. Akistoy, Jr., Kibungan district school heads  with teaching and non-teaching staff, district PTA Federation president and representatives from Kapangan district.
