By Merlito G. Edale, Jr.

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela - The Dept. of Education Schools Division of Isabela and 6th District Rep. Faustino “Inno” Dy V have signed an agreement to ensure implementation of radio-based instruction as one form of the education department’s blended learning systems.
Dr. Madelyn Macalling, DepEd Isabela head said with the signing of a memorandum of agreement, Dy has turned over  P100,000 that will  be used in the payment of airtime lesson episodes through  DWDY AM in Cauayan City.
She said the Radio Based-Instruction dubbed "Division’s Radyo Eskwela" which started October last year is an effective mode of learning as  learners are taught using the radio in delivering lessons this time of Covid-19 pandemic  to avoid transmission of the disease among the learners.
“SDO Isabela has always been fortunate for all education stakeholders who are pouring their resources to ensure that no learners are left behind amid the global health crisis,” Macalling said. -- PIA 2-Isabela
