P58-M marijuana found, burned in Cordi plantations

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – The regional police office bared 25 marijuana eradication operations were conducted last January in Cordillera wherein a total of 223,790 fully-grown marijuana plants, 117.50  kilos dried marijuana stalks and 125 marijuana seedlings worth P58, 207,000 were uprooted and burned. 
    Latest were marijuana worth P17,470,000 which were were uprooted and burned in six plantations in Benguet and Kalinga last week of January.
    In Kibungan, Benguet, police discovered 21,750 fully-grown marijuana plants and 20 kilograms of dried marijuana stalks with an estimated Dangerous Drug Board value of P6,750,000.
    In a separate marijuana eradication operation in Bakun, Benguet, 42,000 fully-grown marijuana plants worth P8,400,000 were discovered by  Benguet police.
    Meanwhile, in Tinglayan, Kalinga, Kalinga police and PDEA agents found 11,000 fully-grown marijuana plants worth P2,320,000.
