CITY – Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Oliver Ronald Lee awarded
deserving Kalinga police here for their accomplishments during his recent visit
here.
Awarded or Medalya ng Kagalingan
were Lt. Col. Radino Belly, Lt. Col. Elmo W. Aspilan and Cpl. Jefferson C
Tengay.
Medalya Ng Papuri was awarded to
Pat. Fylis Gameo, EMS Garry Bassiag and SSG Efren L Calngan.
As a sign of gratitude, Kalinga Provincial Police Office gave Lee a “gangsa”
that “signifies unity, wisdom, strength, and kindness among the i-Kalinga.”
To establish partnership with
local leaders of Kalinga, Lee and Kalinga police director Col. Davy V. Limmong
visited Rep. Allen Jesse C. Mangaoang, Gov. Ferdinand B. Tubban and Tabuk mayor
Darwin C Estraňero.
After his courtesy calls, he met personnel of
the Kalinga PPO at Camp Duyan where he lauded them for their accomplishments in
their campaign against illegal drugs.
Following the regional police director’s
"talk to men", Limmong presented their accomplishments on eradication
of loose firearms for the year 2021.
Lt. Col. Jonathan Chy, regional police
pastoral officer celebrated mass during the occasion.
To acquaint himself with the current peace and order situation in Kalinga, Lee
presided a command conference attended by key personnel and chiefs of police of
Kalinga.
