P7-M road to benefit farmers in Bambang

BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya -- The Dept. of Public Works and Highways will improve roads here in Barangay Salinas to boost economic activities of farmers and agricultural traders.
    Engineer Marifel Andes, DPWH First District chief said they were concreting the Salinas-Mcdo toad worth P7 million to provide better roads for farmers in the area.
    Andes said that the project includes concreting of four road sections with road lengths of 115 meters for first section, 85 meters for second section, 169 meters for third section, 134 meters for fourth section, respectively.
    "The project that started on Jan. 6 this year will provide an accessible transport facility of agricultural goods and local products," she said.
    Andes said that once completed, the project will improve the mobility of goods and services within the area, thereby ensuring food security.
    “This road concreting projects aims to uplift the lives of the farmers leading to the growth of agricultural economy in the area,” Andes added. -- PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya
