All individuals from ages 15 to 30 years were urged to apply.
The application started July 1 and will end on July 25.
An ordinance passed by the SK committee headed by Venancio B. Guines Jr, SK chairperson aimed to provide financial assistance, encourage the youth to complete their studies and reach their full potential.

All grantees will get assistance grants if they have grades not lower than 75 percent or its equivalent in any of the academic courses and should not have dropped any subject within the covered semester.
Consideration shall be given in case of failing grades if valid reasons are presented, such as medical certificate when hospitalized and for incomplete grades (INC) the grantees have the chance to complete their grades in the following semester. Students must be a resident of the barangay and enrolled only in the schools in La Trinidad and Baguio.
Guines said the difference of their ordinance as compared to barangay ordinance was they lowered the passing rate of grades.
The grantee must not fail in two subjects and even if the grades are 75 percent, they can still apply.
Arjie Puylong, third year student and SK treasurer said the program was helpful in continuing her studies.
For future endeavors, the ordinance ensures students will continue their educational grants until they complete their studies and finish their courses.
