32 wanted persons held in Cordillera

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Thirty two persons wanted for various crimes were arrested in Cordillera Nov. 27 to Dec. 3.
    Based on the records of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division, for the week, Baguio police recorded the highest number of arrests with 16 followed by Benguet with 9; Mountain Province, 3 and Kalinga with two.
    Abra and Ifugao police had one arrest each.
    Of these, four listed as “most wanted persons” were arrested, one at provincial level and three at cities.
    During same period, 57 municipalities in Cordillera and one police station of the Baguio City Police Office recorded zero crime incidents.
    In Abra, 23 out of 27 municipalities recorded zero crime while in Ifugao, nine out of 11 municipalities posted no crimes.
    In Benguet, seven municipalities had zero crime incidents.
    Six municipalities of Kalinga recorded no crime incidents while two towns in Apayao posted zero crime incidents.
    Kennon Road Police Station recorded zero crime incidents out of 10 police stations in Baguio City.
