Bontoc health unit gets DOH PhilHealth license to operate

BONTOC, Mountain Province - The Bontoc Rural Health Unit – Konsulta has been granted certificate of accreditation and license to operate from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation and Dept. of Health.
    Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Diga Kay Gomez bared this saying validity of said accreditation is Feb. 16, 2023 until Dec. 31, 2024.
    The Municipal Health Office-Laboratory has also been issued a license to operate as a primary and non-institution-based care facility by the DOH valid Jan. 1, 2023 to Dec. 23, 2023.
    The clinical laboratory provides the following services: microscopy, hematology, serology, and microbiology.
    Mayor Jerome “Chagsen” Tudlong, Jr. said acquisition of license to operate and accreditation allows more efficient and affordable approach in improving and promoting public health which is one his administration’s priorities.
    “We believe that ensuring the health of our community is essential. Thus, improving health facilities and delivering effective health services or programs help create a safe and more resilient community,” the mayor added.
