BUGUIAS, Benguet -- A shabu peddler was arrested in a buy-bust operation by drug law enforcement agents here June 27 at around 8:45 p,n, along the highway here at Nakiangan, Abatan.
The target-listed drug personality was identified as Jimmy Lawangen Subang, 47, of of Nakiangan.
Subang sold a sachet of shabu to an agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera Administrative Region who posed as buyer.
Law enforcers found in his concession one more sachet of the illegal drug.
The confiscated two sachets of shabu, which weighed .18 gram, was valued at P2,000.
Criminal cases for illegal drugs were filed June 28 against Subang, before the office of the provincial prosecutor.
Undersecretary Jose S. Gutierrez Jr., the PDEA Director General commended the PDEA – CAR, led by the just-installed officer-in-charge, investigation agent Gil Cesario P. Castro for the arrest of Subang.
