Civil Service anniversary activities set


BAGUIO CITY - The Civil Service Commission is celebrating this September its 113th anniversary, with the theme, “Tatak Lingkod Bayani: Isabuhay, Ipagmalaki, Ipagbunyi!

A blood-letting activity was held at the CSC Regional Office here Friday in support of the Philippine National Red Cross’ advocacy on voluntary blood donation.

On Sept. 12, a photo exhibit of outstanding public servant-heroes from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), who were awarded the Dangal Ng Bayan, Lingkod Bayan, and Pag-asa awards under the Honor Awards Program with the Citizen’s Satisfaction Center – Seal of Excellence Award (CSC-SEAL), the whole day at the city hall lobby.

On Sept. 13, there shall be an Engrandeng Pagtitipon ng Mga Lingkod-Bayaning Kordilyera at the PFVR gym and Baguio City School of Arts and Trades, starting with an integrity walk at 7AM.

The Baguio office shall also have a “hataw” exercise showcase; indigenous and fun games; and in coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and other government entities, shall have good grooming, health and wellness products and services. The Benguet Field Office in La Trinidad shall have a cheer dance fun competition.

On Sept. 19, awardees of the Honor Awards Program shall be feted in Malacanang.

On Sept. 26 to 28, there shall be a local government executive forum and a fun run as sponsored by the CSC Abra province field office.

On Sept. 30, there are various awarding ceremonies: the CSC Seal of Excellence to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD); the Pondong Pamanang Lingkod Bayan to three CAR beneficiaries; the regional “PARANGAL;”

A PRAISE summit shall also be conducted, as to, Packaging Award-Winning Nominations. The program is for administrative officers, human resource officers, and employees’ Union officers. 
   

 “A Day at the Museum,” and a family day shall also be scheduled. All activities are part of the month-long CSC celebration.  – JuliegFianza with reports from CSC
