By Erwin G. Beleo

AGOO, La Union — Two passengers were buried late last week after they were killed and six others were injured when the jeep they were riding in was hit by a speeding bus along the national highway in Barangay Nazareno here at around 2 p.m. March 22.

Police said Virginia Garcia, 55, and Norayda Dulay, both residents of San Benito, Aringay, La Union, were declared dead upon arrival at the La Union Medical Center while the six injured victims were brought to different hospitals including a three-month old baby.

Initial investigation showed that the casualties and the injured victims were onboard the jeep driven by Benigno Dulay and were on their way to visit a friend in Agoo.

But when the jeep was about to take a left turn, the speeding south bound Sta. Lucia bus suddenly rammed into it.
