Application on for civil service examinations

The Civil Service Commission-Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC-CAR) is now accepting applications for the April 17, 2016 Career Service Examinations-Pencil and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) until February 25.

             CSC regional director Marilyn Talso said scope of the examinations will be on the following areas, both in English and Filipino: vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, analogy, logic and numerical reasoning.

        She added both levels of the examination, Professional and Subprofessional will have general information questions on Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713); peace and human rights issues and concepts and environment management and protection. Examinees are advised to review on the mentioned areas for better chances of passing the examinations.

There are four (4) test centers for the April 17 examinations: Tabuk City, Kalinga; Bangued, Abra; Bontoc, Mountain Province and Baguio City.

Interested applicants may file their applications at the Regional Office at Wagner Road, Military Cut-Off, Baguio City or any of its provincial/field offices. Requirements include four (4) pieces identical passport size picture with handwritten nametag and signature over the printed name of the applicant; a photocopy of any valid identification card and filing fee of P500.00.

CSC is also accepting applications for the March 13, 2016 Fire Officer Examination (FOE) and Penology Officer Examination (POE) which will end Jan. 22. The above requirements are the same for these examinations except for the prescribed height and age requisites and P700.00 filing fee.
