Quarry operator shot dead on road

CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija -- A quarry operator was killed while his helper was wounded in a gun attack here along Maharlika Highway on Tuesday.

Senior Supt. Manuel Cornel, Nueva Ecija police director, identified the fatality as Alvin Quejada, 37, a resident of Barangay SapangBato in General Natividad town.

Quejada died at the scene while Reynaldo Bautista was brought to the PJGMRMC Hospital for treatment.

       The victims were in an Isuzu-Elf truck (ABK-2002) on their way home when unidentified men shot them upon reaching Barangay Mayapyap Sur.
