John Hay biz group elects new officers

BAGUIO CITY -- John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) hosted a locators meeting here at the Bell House, Camp John Hay Thursday to elect new set of officers of John Hay Business Club (JHBC). 
        Comprising the Board of Directors are: Tetchie Pantaleon (Everything Nice), William Santiago (Ayala Land, Inc.), Charmaine Joy De Guzman (Le Monet), Wiliam Aquino (Asian Institute of Management), Remy Ceniza (Mile Hi Inn) and Ramon Salvador (Inbound Pacific, Inc.)
Also in attendance was Melanie Banayos, senior employment officer of Dept. of Labor and Employment who addressed issues and concerns on employment and employee benefits, as well as the Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF). 
During the meeting, JHMC president and CEO Dr. Jamie Eloise M. Agbayani presented accomplishments of JHMC from 2011 to midyear of 2016.  
As of June 30, 2016, 120 enterprises are doing business in the John Hay Special Economic Zone where a total of 5,134 jobs were generated.  
Ninety-five percent of these jobs were sourced from the BLISTT- Baguio City, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, Tublay and the Cordillera.
Through good governance and efficient public service, Agbayani committed  to protect and uphold the interest of its locators.
