Former Ilocos PNP official gunned down

LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte – A former chief of police of this city was shot dead in Sarrat town on Tuesday. 

Supt. Jeffrey Gorospe, was having a drinking spree with his friends at a nipa hut near his residence in Barangay 7 when he was shot.

Gorospe was declared dead on arrival at the Black Nazarene Hospital in San Nicolas town.

Eleven bullet shells for an M16 rifle were recovered at the scene.

The victim was also former spokesman of the Ilocos Norte police.
