CITY OF TABUK, Kalinga – The Kalinga
Provincial Hospital (KPH) pediatric department was placed on 10-day temporary

A KPH advisory stated the lockdown was ordered after a patient was swabbed positive of Covid-19.
The Provincial Health Office reported 41 health personnel who had direct exposure to said patient were swabbed and results were expected this week.
As part of the health protocol, the KPH management has declared 5-day temporarily suspension of out-patient consultation except for emergency cases, while OB-gyne consultation was limited Dec. 3-7 for area disinfection.
There was a surge of Covid-19 cases last week particularly in Tinglayan where three barangays were placed on lockdown Nov. 23 to Dec. 8.
