KIANGAN, Ifugao -- The Kiangan Municipal Police Station here was recognized “Best community and service-oriented policing system (CSOP) implementer provincial level during celebration of 122nd Police Service Anniversary.
Kiangan acting chief of police Capt. Brenda B. Sumawang received certificate of commendation from the deputy provincial director for administration of Ifugao PPO Lt. Col. Joseph B. Cayat at Camp Dunuan, Poblacion North, Lagawe on Oct. 23.
The Kiangan MPS was awarded “Best CSOP implementer” for their harmonious working relationship with the local government unit of Kiangan, not only in peace and order, public safety but also in crime prevention and solutions and in effective delivery of services in their areas of responsibility.
The “Best CSOP Implementer Award” is given to police units for their exemplary performance in establishing good coordination and collaboration with LGUs and citizenry in promotion of peace and order and public safety and strengthening the LGU’s capability for effective delivery of services to the community.
