Ilocos town has new vice mayor

BACARRA, Ilocos Norte – The Commission on Elections has served the writ of execution ousting the vice mayor of this town.

Sangguniang Bayan member Jonathan Ramit was installed as the new vice mayor, replacing ousted Vice Mayor Pacifico Velasco, on Tuesday.

Vice Gov. Angelo Marcos swore Ramit into office.Town officials said they will abide with the Comelecorder. – Teddy Molina
