DAGUPAN CITY– The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-Region 1 has advised the public to refrain from eating, gathering, transporting and marketing shellfish from the coastal waters of Bani town in Pangasinan after samples were found positive of red tide toxin.
In an advisory, Nestor Domenden, BFAR-Region 1 director, said his office and local authorities will continue to monitor the coastal waters of Wawa, Bani to safeguard public health and protect the fishery industry.
