Abra gov, Trinidad Comelec head, bocap surrender firearms



LANGIDEN, Abra –Six firearms were surrendered by government officials to police here for safekeeping last week.

Gov. Eustaquio Bersamin surrendered two 12-guage shotguns without ammunition while barangay  captains president Artemio Cirilo DonatoJr surrendered a Cal. 45 pistol and an  M16 rifle also without magazines and ammunition.

Barangay Kagawad Gilbert PaculdarPacsa alias Kayyeng,  of Barangay Dalimag, San Isidro town also  surrendered a shotgun .

Eugene Castañeda Ramos, 59, acting Commission on Elections officer  of La Trinidad, Benguet, native of Barangay Agtangao, Bangued, Abra also turned-in a Cal. 22 Remington rifle without ammunition.
