Dagupan resto head nabbed for shabu sale


DAGUPAN CITY – A restaurant manager, tagged by narcotics agents as a prominent drug pusher was nabbed here early afternoon of Feb. 27,  Mangin District by elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 1 and Dagupan police.

Arrested was Balaw M. Jamal, 31, who yielded 75 grams of shabu worth P270,000 in the buy-bust operation.

He was detained at Dagupan Police Station while cases for illegal drugs were prepared against him.


“Jamal was considered  a high value target due to the large amount of drugs he was involved with. Our intelligence teams are working to pursue leads on where his sources are to control pproliferation of drugs in Pangasinan” said regional PDEA director Adrian G. Alvarino.
