Four men rob at gunpoint Tabuk couple of P500-K


TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Four men robbed at gunpoint a business couple here last week and ran away with half a million pesos and personal items.   
Police said the incident happened of July 23 in Appas Sur at the residence of Ben Oliver, 42 and his wife Erlinda, 39.
The victims arrived home around 8 p.m. that night from Bulanao public market and upon entering their kitchen, Erlinda was followed by unidentified persons. One of them pointed a firearm and declared the heist. One of the men immediately took her bag containing  less P500,000 cash, five passbooks, TIN card, Comelec ID card and driver’s license of her husband. The two suspects hit the head of Ben with their firearm before searching all the rooms.
              According to Ben, the thieves armed with three handguns and  rifle, were all wearing ball caps and face mask. The house was fully equipped with CCTV camera but the robbers destroyed the monitor and took the memory cards. The unidentified men  fled towards the fire exit at the back of the house. Police lifted two fingerprints of the suspects from the crime scene.
