Go named adopted son of Nueva Ecija

CABANATUAN CTY, Nueva Ecija — Citing his work as former special assistant to the President, his role in bridging the concerns of the people to President Duterte and his continued support for Nueva Ecija, Christopher “Bong” Go has been named adopted son of the province.
In a resolution issued on Jan. 14,  the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Nueva Ecija also expressed its support for Go’s Senate bid.
Resolution 34s-2019, which was attested by provincial board secretary Gian Carlo Sumanlag and approved by Nueva Ecija Gov. Czarina Umali, was presented to Go during his visit here on Monday.
Go attended several events and graced the opening of the 21st Malasakit Center at the Eduardo Joson Memorial Hospital.
The Malasakit Center brings together concerned government agencies, such as the Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. and PhilHealth, to make it easier and faster for indigent patients to avail themselves of medical and financial assistance from the government.
Go said he would push the approval of a law that would institutionalize the creation of Malasakit Centers
