2 P’sinan folks positive for Covid; village locked down

ASINGAN, Pangasinan — Barangay Dupac here has been placed on total lockdown for 14 days after two residents tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
Provincial health officer Anna Ma. Teresa de Guzman said the patients, a 15-year-old female and her 29-year-old male relative, were confined at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in San Carlos City.
Twelve relatives of the patients were tested for the virus.
There are now 41 cases in the province, 10 of them from Dagupan City.
De Guzman said testing of medical frontliners, law enforcers, persons under monitoring and suspected COVID-19 cases in 16 cities and municipalities in Pangasinan identified as ”hot spots” are ongoing.
