6,289 KSU students enroll in online class

CITY OF TABUK, Kalinga --  A total  of  6,289 students in undergraduate and graduate schools enrolled in online class of Kalinga State University (KSU) for school year 2020-2021 that opened August 17.
KSU president Eduardo T. Bagtang disclosed KSU offers flexible learning using online Google classroom as modality in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the Google classroom setting, students can choose whether to participate in the synchronous or asynchronous classes.
Under the synchronous set-up, students will participate in the real-time online classroom instruction while under the asynchronous set-up, students can open uploaded lessons at their own available time.
Modules in the flexible learning are downloaded from the ‘google classroom’.
Bagtang said students in areas with poor internet connection were urged to transfer to places with clear internet connection for the online learning.
He told students to bear with the set-up as part of government’s learning adjustment amid the Covid-19 pandemic. (JDP/LL-PIA CAR, Kalinga)
