Cordi PNP chief awards Ifugao, Mt. Prov officers

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- New Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronald Oliver Lee visited Ifugao and Mountain Province police offices last week and awarded exemplary officers urging his men to excel in operational and administrative performance.
    Lee make his first command visit at the Ifugao Police Provincial Office in the capital town of Lagawe April 20 wherein he showed proper use of uniform.
    The visit was highlighted with display of confiscated illegal firearms and awarding of medals to outstanding Ifugao police who excelled in their fields.
    Lee was welcomed with an Ifugao cultural presentation by personnel and officials of the IPPO and Gov. Jerry Dalipog.  
    Lee awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP medal of merit) to six police officer during his visit: Maj. Machael M. Dangilan, SSg Elvis D Kimmayong, Capt. Basilio L Hopdayan Jr., SSg Joseph B Gunichon,  Lt. Christy Mae Pacia and PSSg Jesent G. Tayaban.
    This is in recognition of their operational accomplishments leading to the arrest of three most wanted persons in the province.
In Mountain Province, Lee awarded the same medal to Lt. Col. Edgar L. Tapo, Lt. Nestor B. Puguon, PEMS Gaspar M. Suagen and Cpl. Dexter P Falangon for their accomplishments in anti-illegal logging and anti-drug campaign.
    Lee also handed grocery packs and cash to four Militia ng Bayan surrenderees to help them start a normal life with their families during the occasion.
    Lee also visited Mountain Province Gov. Bonifacio C. Lacwasan Jr. and Bontoc Mayor Hon. Franklin C. Odsey during his visit.
