CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet-The Regional Highway Patrol Unit (RHPU) Cordillera welcomed its new chief, Lt. Col. Kimberly E. Molitas as she joined the flag raising ceremony here at city hall Monday.
Succeeding Lt. Col. Joe Wilson J, Denamarka, Molitas, who hails from Kibungan, Benguet is the first woman to become Cordillera RHPU chief.
Molitas had served as chief of police community relations of Highway Patrol Group headquarters at Camp Crame.
She had also been chief of Public Information Office of National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
Molitas is a graduate from PNPA class Magilas of 2000 and had been listed as one of the “12 emerging leaders of Asia” from over 600 candidates by Asia Foundation in 2016.
Molitas has already rendered courtesy call to Baguio City mayor Benjamin Magalong and Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronald O. Lee as she officially takes her new post.
