DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – Twenty five wanted persons were arrested in
Cordillera from Dec. 11 to 17.
Based on the records from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division, Baguio posted highest number of arrests with eight, followed by Benguet with six; Ifugao, five and Kalinga with one.
Of these, two “most wanted persons” were nabbed.
During same period, 61 municipalities in Cordillera and one police station in Baguio City recorded zero crime incidents.
In Abra, 22 out of 27 municipalities recorded zero crime while in Mountain Province, eight out of 10 municipalities also posted no crime incidents.
In Benguet and Ifugao, nine municipalities recorded zero crime incidents.
In Kalinga, seven municipalities recorded zero crime while six municipalities in Apayao also posted no crime.
In Baguio, Irisan Police Station recorded zero crime incidents out of 10 police stations in the city.
