EU monitors shelter project

TABUK, Kalinga — A team from the European Commission for Humanitarian Aid found the 75 houses in Barangay Dilag here partially damaged by typhoon Juan and repaired under the shelter repair Kit-1 of the Red Cross as satisfactorily completed.
Loraine Anne Marcos, project coordinator said the 4-member team was happy about the finished project adding European Union countries donated these to typhoon victims in Kalinga.
The ECHA monitoring team was composed of Silvia Emini from Brussels, Belgium and Desk Officer for the Philippines and Indonesia; Joelle Goire, Rapid Response Coordinator of the European Commission Organization; Alexander Kushashuini, head of the International Federation of the Red Cross, Philippines operation; and Arlene Aquino, also of ECHO.
