Drug pushing family arrested

URDANETA, Pangasinan– A couple and their son were arrested in two different anti-narcotics operations led by elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 1 and police here Nov. 8.

The separate buy-bust operations yielded small nine plastic sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride locally called shabu including marked money a cellular phone with text messages of illegal drug transactions.

PDEA director general undersecretary Jose S. Gutierrez Jr. through PDEA Region 1 director Edgar S. Apalla, identified the couple as Roger and Norma Locquiao, 37 year-old-son RodelLocquiao all residents of Barangay Bayaoas here.

Rodel was arrested March 2009 for the same offense and was acquitted earlier July of this year.

The family’s modus operandi reportedly started from the couple who bought illegal items from several muslim contacts then used their siblings as couriers in delivering the illegal drugs.

The parents were charged for illegal drugs.
