4 drug pushers nabbed in Manaoag, Urdaneta

URDANETA CITY -- Four alleged drug pushers were arrested by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 1 operatives in two separate anti-narcotics operations in the province first week of June.

Brothers Antonio Enriquez and Joni Enriquez were nabbed in a buy-bust operation in a  hut near their residence at Zone 3, Babasit, Manaoag, Pangasinan.

 The 44-year-old Antonio handed a plastic sachet containing shabu to a PDEA agent while younger brother Joni Enriquez who initiated the illegal drug transaction through text messages accepted the marked money signaling agents to close in and make the arrest.

 Recovered from the suspect’s possession were four carefully concealed plastic sachets of shabuvalued at P2,000 and the P500 marked bill.

The illegal drugs were supposedly to be delivered to customers.

 Working fervently through the weekend the same PDEA team apprehended live-in partners AsliahDindongan, 18, and Mohammad Dibaratan, 21, at their residence in Barangay Nancayasan, Urdaneta City.  

 PDEA regional director Edgar S. Apalla said confiscated from the suspects were seven plastic sachets of shabu valued at P3,500 including the P500 buy-bust money.

 All suspects were charged for illegal drugs.
