4 men nabbed for rape, frustrated slay, theft

CAMP BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet
– Four wanted persons were arrested Nov. 27 by law enforcers implementing
OplanTugis in relation to Manhunt Charlie of the Philippine National
Police in Benguet and Kalinga.
Chief Supt. Benjamin B Magalong, regional
police director said police arrested
Nestor David Espotuno, 47, of Nasunugan, Dao, Iloilo and resident of Topinao,
Poblacion, Tuba, Benguet who was wanted for rape.
Espotuna was nabbed in Tuba after Judge
Francis B. Buliyat Sr. of Regional Trial Court of Branch 9, La Trinidad,
Benguet used a warrant for his arrest with no bail bond recommended.
On the same day, two suspects were also
arrested for theft in two separate operations by the Benguet police.
A team of La Trinidad municipal police led by
Chief Insp. Richard Albon arrested
Luncio Salvador Dosalen, 19 of Bauko, Mountain Province residing at Western
Buyagan, Poblacion, La Trinidad at Barangay Pico in the latter town.
This, after Judge Marybelle Demot-Marinas, of
the RTC Banch8 La Trinidad issued a
warrant for his arrest with a recommended bail bond of P 22, 000.
In Buguias, Benguet, police also arrested
Jonathan Ranoli Castro, 27, laborer from Gerona Tarlac.
Judge Agapito K.Laoagan Jr. of RTC Branch. 64
Abatan, Buguias, Benguet earlier issued a warrant for Castro’s |arrest and
recommended bail bond of P. 30, 000 for his temporary liberty.
In Kalinga, Tabuk City police led by SPO4
Cornelio D. Balnao arrested Suggi Tayab Bagsao, 34 of Barangay Dilag for
frustrated murder.
Judge Marcelino K. Wacas of RTC Branch 25
Bulanao, Tabuk, who issued the suspect’s arrest warrant recommended bail of P
200,000.
All arrested persons were under custody of
concerned police stations after their arrest.
