Cordillera accepting applicants for PNP

CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera is
now accepting interested applicants for 2013 Police Officer 1 under the regular
attrition recruitment program for the region.
Applicants can submit application June 14 to
June 28. Successful applicants will take their oath on Sept. 30.
Interested applicants who want to join the
Philippine National Police must have general qualification standards (GQS) and
submit these for screening.
The GQS; baccalaureate degree, eligibility
(under Republic Act 6506, RA 1080, passer of PNP entrance examination, Civil
Service Commission professional under Presidential Decree 907) and must not
have been dishonorably discharged from military employment or on AWOL dropped
from rolls from the PNP service or dismissed for any civilian position in the
government.
Applicants must have no pending criminal case
in any court, including the office of the Ombudsman or administrative case if
already an employee of the government and not convicted by final judgment of an
offense or crime involving moral turpitude.
Height should be at least one meter and
sixty-two centimeters (1.62m) in height for male and one meter and fifty-seven
centimeters (1.57m for female) and must weigh not more or less than 5 kg from
standard weight corresponding to height,
age and sex and must be less than 21 to 30 years of age.
Applicants must submit one folder with
tabbing containing the following; CSC Form 212, birth certificate authenticated
by National Statistics Office, report of rating of eligibility (authenticated
by issuing unit), two 2x2 ID picture with white background indicating
applicant’s name and transcript of records and diploma (authenticated by school
registrar); clearances from barangay, local police station, RTC/MTC and NBI and
medical certificate issued by the local health officer.
Requirements include copy of two valid IDs
with pictures, signature and address and certificate of good moral character
issued by the college/university last attended by the applicant. All
photocopied documents should be certified as true copy.
