Jealous husband knifes wife to death

BINMALEY, Pangasinan – Suspecting his wife to be having an illicit affair, a husband allegedly hacked and stabbed his wife to death due to anger.

Edna Cabrera, 34, of Barangay Baybay Lopez, this town, died due to several wounds in the back of the head, and in the stomach following the hacking incident that her husband Edgardo Cabrera perpetuated noontime Wednesday inside the couple’s residence.

Investigation revealed that the spouses had an argument regarding an alleged third party relationship of the wife, which angered the husband, causing him to get a short bolo, hacked her wife in the head, and stabbed her four times that led to

her death.

Lopez is now incarcerated at the municipal jail while charges are set to be filed against him.
