2 teeners killed inIlocos mishap

BANTAY, Ilocos Sur – Two minors died when their motorcycle collided with a passenger van in Barangay Taleb in this town Monday.

Guillermo Donato Barbosa, 14, and Raymart Bayken,15, reportedly overtook another vehicle when they slammed into a van coming from the opposite direction.

The victims were thrown off their motorcycle and died at the scene due to head injuries.

Van driver Edwin Pespes suffered injuries while his seven passengers were unhurt.

He was placed under police custody after the incident.
