Baguio lawyer found dead inside apartment

BAGUIO CITY – A lawyer’s body was discovered here inside a house located at No. 70 Lower Kitma, Bakakeng Central Tuesday around 7:40 p.m.

                The body was identified as that of Manuel Zamora Dominguez, 54, single, resident of the house. His body was found by his sister Cristina Zamora Dominguez, 63, single, resident of Parisas Compound, Bakakeng.

Cristina told police she last saw her brother alive when she visited him Monday around 8 p.m. and gave him food for dinner.

                She said around 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday, she visited him again and found her brother sprawled on the floor.

               She tried to shake his brother but noticed that he was not responding and breathing thus she called out for help. 

                Police investigation showed no signs of forcible entry at the apartment of the dead lawyer while his personal belongings were all found intact.

                There were no visible signs of external injuries on the body.

                The cadaver was brought to Saint Peter’s Funeral Home, here along km 4, Marcos Highway, around 10 p.m. for autopsy and embalming.
