Murder case filed vs man for stabbing secu guard

LAGAWE, Ifugao –
Charges for frustrated murder were filed against a native of Samar now living
here for reportedly stabbing a security guard while the latter was working on
his rice field at Poblacion South.
Police named the
victim as Pablo Guihubon Kimayong, 57, of Poblacion West who went to the
police station and showed his bleeding stab wound on his back prompting lawmen
to rush him to IGH Clinic here in Natuwolan, Cudog. He was later referred to
Ifugao General Hospital, Lamut, for treatment.
Kimayong said the
wound was inflicted on him by a certain Marvin who was later identified as
Julie Boy Bahado “Marvin” Bujocan 33, single, native of Boronggan, Eastern
Samar.
A police report said
the incident happened Wednesday around
5:20 p.m. when Bujocan approached Kimayong. A
misunderstanding ensued but the victim requested the suspect who was under the
influence of liquor to go home, and to meet next time to settle their
misunderstanding.
Without the knowledge
of the Kimayong, Bujocan who was armed with a knife hid himself along the
pathway and waited for the victim. While the victim was transferring his
carabao, the suspect suddenly appeared and stabbed the victim on his back. The
victim struggled with the suspect but the suspect managed to escape and
proceeded to Lagawe police station to seek assistance.
While the
investigation was ongoing, Bujocan went inside the police station under the
influence of liquor and narrated the incident.
He said he was
residing with one Jackson Bulahao of Poblacion South. Bujocan was arrested.
