Robbers steal P600-K, land titles from doc’s house

DAGUPAN CITY — Suspected robbers last week carted away P600,000 worth of jewelry and four land titles from the house of a doctor here in Barangay Lucao. Rico Reyes, 61, of PNR Site, Barangay Mayombo, told police he discovered the robbery on Friday morning.

He said he discovered that his attaché case containing four land titles, a Philippine passport, an immigrant green card and assorted jewelry was missing.

The house, which was undergoing renovation, was left unattended on Thursday night.

Reyes said his wife forgot to lock a window on the second floor, which was believed used by the robbers in gaining entry to the house.
