Pangasinan bridge collapses; 4 injured

BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan -- Four persons were injured after a portion of the  Carlos P. Romulo bridge collapsed here in  Barangay Wawa around 3:37 p.m. Thursday.

The four were passengers of two trucks.

The bridge connects Bayambang to Camiling town in Tarlac.

Bayambang Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao said the victims are now in stable condition in a hospital.

She said the municipal government coordinated with the Dept. of Public Works and Highway and concerned agencies regarding the accident.

Quiambao advised motorists to take alternate routes for their safety.
