Vigan City council has two new members
VIGAN CITY, Ilocos Sur — This Heritage City has two new city councilors.
They are newly elected Panlungsod na Pederasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan president Edreen Pajaro and Association of Barangay Captains president John Patrick Singson
The inclusion of Singson and Pajaro as members of the city council was welcomed by Mayor Eva Marie S. Medina.
This came after Victor Aquino, officer of the Department of Interior and Local Government, introduced the two ex-officio members to the august body.
They had earlier taken their oath before Vice Mayor Franz Ranches, with oath taking witnessed by the regular city councilors.
In response to the warm welcome of the members of the legislative body of Vigan, Pajaro expressed his gratitude and assured that he will do his best as a legislator representing the youth.
He sought the support of the council for the realization of the "YES Project" of the Sangguniang Kabataan which is aimed at making the youths strong and leaders. – Mar T. Supnad
