Cops nab 6 jueteng collectors in Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – Six jueteng bet collectors were arrested by police here at Camdas Subdivision, Lower Magsaysay Avenue and Satellite market of Trancoville, Baguio City on Oct 2. The suspects were identified as Cris Diaz y Pablo, 23; James Ruiz y Montano, 21; Joel Cruz y Lacsamana, 23; Jay Logan y Alejandro, 29; Rolando Sicay y Rivera, 27 and Oliver Lopez y Sicat, 29.

Polcie said confiscated from the suspects were jueteng paraphernalia and cash bets amounting to P3,500 in different denominations.

The six suspects were later released on promise to appear before the office of Inquest Prosecutor Conrado Catral.
