Faith healer shot dead in Pangasinan

BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan - Two gunmen shot dead last week a female faith healer while conducting a faith healing ritual here.

Police said Mary Grace Tan, 44, of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, died from multiple gunshot wounds in the body.

Police said Tan was conducting a faith healing session in a house in Barangay Tanolong at around 3 p.m., when two gunmen fired several shots at her.

The faith healer's assailants escaped on board a motorcycle.

Tan was declared dead upon arrival at the Bayambang District Hospital.

Police believe that Tan's killing had something to do with her faith healing activities.
