Man jailed for murder in Abra

LANGIDEN, Abra – A man wanted for murder was nabbed here Jan. 30 at the Poblacion and is now in jail at the town police station.

A police report said Langiden police and 1st Maneuver Company, Regional Public Safety Battalion led by Senior Insp. Nicomedes Angel Olarte arrested Andring C. Baruela, 38, of Callunay, Malapaao in the town.

Corpuz Alzate, presiding judge of regional trial court in the capital town of Banguedearlier issued an arrest warrant for Baruela for murder.

The report did not mention the name of the victim.
